This course has been designed to allow practitioners to understand the pivotal role of adults in the physical, social, cognitive, and emotional development of children, and will explore how adults can encourage child development in the early years. It will look at exploring development through play and look at child-initiated and adult-led play and the difference between the two. The course will end with an understanding of learning environments and the importance of inclusive practice in an early years setting.
